Description

A wine jewel for lovers of Art Nouveau (known in Italy as Stile Liberty, although they are not really the same thing). Art Nouveau is an artistic movement that originated in Austria (with the Viennese Secession and my beloved Gustav Klimt and Alfons Mucha) and spread across Europe during the Belle Époque, between 1890 and 1910. Art Nouveau's attention to detail was born to counteract the flattening of taste resulting from the spread of industrial processes. In jewellery, the greatest exponents were Lalique in Paris and Tiffany in New York. The subjects were inspired by nature and women: dragonflies, cranes, peacocks, nymphs, fruit, flowers... all surrounded by curved lines that were purely decorative. The most commonly used materials were glass, gold and brass (for the colour similar to gold, but cheaper). Precious stones were not so much used as the preciousness of the jewel was given by the manual work of its creator and his capacity for detail, so much so that any metal was transformed into a work of art.

La grape necklace It measures 42 cm in total and is suitable for wearing around the neck. Made by a craftsman in a limited edition, only 6 pieces are available (the seventh was the graduation present my husband gave me!).

Wine-themed jewellery made of brass galvanised with 5 micron antiqued silver, which retains its beauty over time - in fact, it becomes even more beautiful! It contains no nickel and is hypoallergenic.

It is recommended to take care of the jewel wine cleaning it periodically with a damp cloth and avoiding contact with soaps that could alter its appearance.
