Recipes & Pairings
One of my greatest fortunes is having lived in the same house in Romagna with my parents and grandparents for 21 years. My grandmother Diomira 'Nonna Mira' used to cook everything at home and her fresh pasta is still the best I have ever eaten... while my grandfather Mario 'la mignatta' - not the Italian Navy's assault vehicle but a Romagnolo way of calling a 'heavy' person, although in his case it was in an affectionate sense - was a really good restorer of antique furniture. Morale at 5 years old I was already rolling out the pastry like the best azdore - in romagna are the ladies very good in the kitchen - and drank sweet albana in the shop with Grandpa on the sly while we unwrapped furniture. Today my husband Francesco enjoys it and spoils me with many quick and tasty recipes... which I also propose in this category with delicious food and wine pairings! 😍
