Perlage is the set of carbon dioxide bubbles produced by a sparkling wine or a champagne when the bottle is uncorked and the wine poured into the glass: the fineness and quality of the perlage are elements for evaluating the value of the product. 

My passion for Italian sparkling wines and French Champagnes is so total that I called my own wine blog Perlage Suite. If on the one hand teaching for aspiring sommeliers and wine lovers is the main focus of this website, on the other hand I want to give you the widest possible overview of the extraordinary world of bubbles ... obviously interpreted according to my personal taste! 😎
